SALTEE is inspired by the coast — the places we visit, remember, protect and return to.

That coastal connection matters to us. Anyone who has walked a beach after a busy weekend, seen plastic caught in the tide line, or watched how quickly the sea changes understands why small choices add up. SALTEE is not claiming to be perfect, but we are trying to build the brand in a more responsible way from the start.

Our aim is simple: create coastal clothing people genuinely want to wear, while choosing better materials, avoiding unnecessary waste and being honest about where we are on the journey.

Printed to order

SALTEE products are printed to order through our fulfilment partner, Printful.

This means we do not produce large quantities of stock and hope they sell. Instead, each item is made after an order is placed. For a small independent brand, this helps us reduce the risk of overproduction, unsold stock and unnecessary waste.

It also means every order has a production stage before dispatch, so delivery may take a little longer than buying something from a warehouse shelf — but we believe this is a better approach for the kind of brand we are building.

Better garment choices

Where available, we choose garment options that include organic, recycled, vegan-friendly or responsibly sourced materials.

Many SALTEE items are selected from eco-focused ranges, including products made with organic cotton, recycled materials or material blends. Product details are shown on individual product pages, so customers can see the fabric information for each item before buying.

We are not saying every product is perfect. We are saying we will continue to choose better options wherever we can.

Vegan-friendly options

A number of the garments we use are vegan-friendly, meaning they are made without animal-derived materials.

This fits with the SALTEE approach: simple, wearable coastal clothing with a lighter, more considered feel.

Recycled materials

Some SALTEE products include recycled fibres or recycled material blends.

Using recycled materials can help give existing resources another life and reduce reliance on virgin materials. Where a product contains recycled content, we aim to make this clear in the product description.

Coastal design, lower waste

Our designs are built around clean line artwork, limited colour choices and a consistent SALTEE style.

Light garments usually use dark navy print, while darker garments use a softer vintage white print. Keeping the print approach controlled helps avoid poor colour combinations, unnecessary design variation and products that do not look or feel right.

The goal is to make clothing that feels simple, wearable and lasting — not throwaway fashion.

Because our items are printed to order, delivery times may vary depending on production and courier times. We will always aim to keep customers updated and make the process as straightforward as possible.
